GAVIN O’CONNOR SET FOR SUICIDE SQUAD 2
It has been reported that Gavin O’Connor is now on board to direct the sequel to Suicide Squad, due to go in to production next year. O’Connor, know for directing 2011’s Warrior and, recent Ben Affleck movie, The Accountant is also in talks to direct the movie.
JOHN CENA / JOSHUA SASSE IN THE MIX FOR SHAZAM
Another DC movie due to start production in 2018 is Shazam. While the hunt is still on to find someone to play the young Billy Batson, it appears that the casting of Shazam is getting ever closer, with Joshua Sasse, known for Galavant (2015) and WWE Superstar John Cena both, seemingly, in contention for the role.
