My nominee for March goes to Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian from Watchmen.  A role that he was clearly born to play.

Jeffrey was born on April 22, 1966 in Seattle, WA and has been an active actor since 1991.  His rise to fame came in the mid 2000’s when he cast simultaneously as John Winchester in Supernatural and Denny Duquette in Grey’s Anatomy.  In 2008, he was cast as The Comedian and hasn’t looked back since.

I was fortunate enough to meet Jeffrey at a Heroes and Villains Fanfest in Chicago last year and he was just a delight.  I had him sign my Watchmen movie poster and was able to chat with him about the movie for a bit.  He revealed to me that he almost passed on the role after reading the first couple pages of the movie script because (Spoiler Alert) The Comedian dies in the opening scene.  Thankfully, he changed his mind after he finished reading the script as well as the graphic novel at a friend’s request.

On a more personal note, one thing I absolutely love about Jeffrey, outside of being a great family man, is his love for animals.  He owns and operates a no kill farm in New York State, often sharing pictures and videos of his many farm animals on his social media accounts.  One animal in particular I’m fond of seeing videos of is Paxton the donkey.

One last thing, if you’ve ever received a hug from Jeffrey, you’ll know that they are worth the Hall of Fame vote alone.  So lets get him through the March semi final and into the end of the year final by voting here.
