Everyone has watched an animation version of Batman. Or has played a game as Batman. Or has even heard his voice at amusement parks as Batman. There is no way around it. Kevin Conroy is the voice of Batman. Here is the crazy thing though. When he walked into his audition in the early nineties, he had no knowledge about the comics or cape crusader himself.

He was given a small synopsis by the producers of the animated series of who Batman and Bruce Wayne were. Giving him only five minutes to prepare! He says on his website, “As soon as they described the schizophrenic lifestyle, it bugged me. I thought ‘Wait a minute, he is the Bill Gates of Gotham. He is the most eligible bachelor.

Everyone knows who he is. And he puts a cape on, and no one recognizes him? Come on.”
The Julliard trained Broadway actor has been Batman since the animated series that started in 1992. According to IMBD, he has done 42 different titles (and counting) as Batman!
