Lets start with some fantastic news, Gotham has been renewed for a fifth season. At the 11th hour Fox made the announcement on Sunday 13th May 2018, but Gotham Season 5 will be it’s final season and they will be concentrating on Bruce Wayne becoming “The Batman.” It is still to be confirmed if the fifth season will be 13 or 22 episodes, that will discussed at Fox upfronts in New York on Monday 14th May around 4pm EST.
How do I feel about this news? Well first of all I am extremely proud of the Gotham fandom coming together to continually #RenewGothamSeason5, Fox seemed to take on board just how much love there is for this show. I will also admit to feeling emotional that my favourite DC show will come to an end, I know all shows have to end at some point but I always thought Gotham would run for six seasons. But this does give Gotham a chance to finish the story they always wanted to tell.
Gotham is in hands of a brilliant writing team, directors and producers and a cast that will embrace their characters and storylines just like have over the past seasons especially season 4.
