There have long been a raft of DC Comics toys for children, and collector items for adults but since the growth of the ‘superhero’ genre on TV and film there have been more and more released by multiple companies with official DC licensing.

Jada Toys have just announced their Die cast figurine collection, which includes heroes from DC and Marvel alike. The figures come in at around 1.65 inches and as the title suggests, they are made from diecast metal, so are much more a collectors item than a toy. You can find them online on multiple websites.

Yamato toys have released a statue of Wonder Woman to coincide with the release of the movie at cinemas a while ago. The statue has amazing detail and is something definitely for your collection if you are a Wonder Woman fan.

Another range of collectors items that i discovered over the weekend by pure chance are the Q-Pop DC collection. These state on the box that they are an adult collectors item and not for children. They are super cool, and represent a range of DC history including the late Adam West’s Batman, amongst many others. You can currently pick these up in B&M stores in the UK for a fraction of the recommended price.

Of course there are the usual DC collectors items such as Funko who many people, including myself, get addicted to after buying their first. You can buy Funko’s and many other DC related figures and toys from our friends over at Grt4Toys.

If you are a fan of DC, or even Marvel, then they are the place to checkout for all your toy and collector needs!. You can also send them a tweet at @Grt4Toys to find out more about their shop and what they stock!
