Justice League

SDCC 2017 : Justice League Panel

The Justice League are finally set. And they are ready to blow your mind! With just a few (and some are really hoping for) short months away, fans have started to develop DC fever. Cyborg, Aquaman, and the Flash join Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman for the first time on the big screen this November. And the party is just getting started.

Comic enthusiasts at the San Diego convention, some staying in line overnight, packed themselves into and out of Hall H Saturday, July 22 for the much anticipated preview and to see the cast. The cast members who attended the panel were Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Ezra Miller with Chris Hardwick as the Master of Ceremonies. Fans were teased earlier in the week with the unveiling of the new Batmobile and with rumors of Ben Affleck’s Batman being “quietly ushered out” and plans of going in another direction. The rumor was quickly put to rest as Affleck said “I AM the Batman.” And also expressed how much he’s anticipating Matt Reeves’ vision of the upcoming Batman solo movie.

The panel started with Jason Momoa coming out and introducing the Aquaman movie. After air-guitaring his trident and waves to fans, it was time for the rest of the league to come to the stage. But they didn’t come up to stage through the side as usual. Ben, Gal, Ezra, and Ray surprised the room by coming through the crowd high fiving fans as they approached the stage. This cast is having a good time and it’s spreading to the fans.

Unlike last year, Zach Synder was not in attendance to show off his work along with the cast. And fans on social media expressed how much they still appreciate him. And from what fans see in the trailer, they are still looking forward to the finish product. Also unlike last year, there was no surprise visit from Superman Henry Cavill. According to IMBD, he does return as Superman/Clark Kent. How much we actually see of him in the almost three hour movie remains the mystery.

Fans loved seeing the cast, but the highlight of the panel: the trailer. Packing into just over four minutes of footage, fans see plenty of action, special effects, humor, along with easter eggs and theories to keep you guessing until November. And Warner Brothers is not letting anything get out!

Here’s what we do know from the trailer. Wonder Woman can kick some butt (Who knew, right?). Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons come to Earth to look for three artifacts called Mother Boxes. Steppenwolf has met the Green Lantern Corp. Steppenwolf has destroyed other worlds. The Amazonian Army fights the Parademons. Aquaman knows how to use a Parademon as a surfboard. The Flash gets to be in his first battle. J.K. Simmons (Spiderman, Whiplash) and Ciaran Hinds (Rome, Game of Thrones) join the cast as Commissioner Gordon and Steppenwolf. Alfred is visited by someone who was foretold to him.

Here are some additional notes to add to your theories. According to IMBD: Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, Martha Kent, Antiope, Queen Hippolyta, and Superman (of course) make a reappearance. Alongside those characters: Billy Crudup (Watchmen, Alien: Covenant) as Henry Allen, Amber Heard (Magic Mike, The Danish Girl) as Mera, Willem Dafoe (Spiderman, Murder on the Orient Express) as Nuidis Vulko, and Kiersey Clemons (Dope, Neighbors: 2) as Iris West join the cast.

Here’s a look at The Justice League. Coming to theaters this November.

The Justice League Unite In New Poster

We have just been treated to a new Justice League poster ahead of todays events at San Diego Comic Con 2017 and titled You can’t save the world alone.

The poster also comes as a banner and was shared by the movies official twitter accounts a short time ago. Possible news of a new trailer also coming later today plus lots of other DC news plus even a glimpse of the new Aquaman movie starring Jason Momoa.

Stay posted to the twitter page and site for all the news later tonight and tomorrow.

Leaked Images from Justice League surface

Justice League has recently been doing some retakes in Bedfordshire, and Paul Edwards last week got some exclusive photos from the set.

This week it seems promotion and leaked images have been all the go. First off, it seems that there has been a redesign of the Batman suit, with the previous being based on the ‘Dark Knight Returns’ comics, and the new one for Justice League seemingly similar to the suit from the Arkham Knight video game.

There has also been a leaked photo of the new Batmobile for the movie. It is on the back of a trailer seemingly being prepared for filming.

Progress on the film is fast heading to a conclusion ready for the release later this year, and things are definitely getting leaked more and more as the months go on. We at DCWorld are very excited to see what comes next in the months ahead.

Sneak peak at the new Justice League filming location

So it’s Saturday morning on June 19th and I found out where they were filming new scenes and reshoots  for the Justice league movie here in the UK.

I shall not name the location as for respect to Warner Brothers but if you work it out from the images, good luck!

So I set off at early o’clock and had a little map of the area which I studied previously.
On my arrival at the two massive airbase hangers, immediately there was a security gate at the front entrance to which I politely stopped and spoke to the security guard in the hut.
He would neither confirm or deny which movies were being filmed at the hangers but apparently in one hangar is the dumbo movie and then in the other is the justice league, which was confirmed a few days ago by other pictures by somebody online of the gargoyles, the exact same ones which Batman stands on in the trailer.
So I went for a short drive around the airfield and found a location to leave my car then went on a little walk down some country lanes which were very lovely but it was also very bloody hot today, wearing jeans was a silly mistake.
Immediately you could see movie props outside the back end of the huge Hangars which many had been covered up by green and black covers and also there were American cars, green screen props, A green screen trailer a great big bus next to it and what was even more intriguing was the great big ramp to being built today for some sort of jump over the vehicles it looked like.
To me this looks like some sort of scene that they are going to use the Batmobile to jump over or whatever they plan to do and have I the exclusive pics to show you the idea.
Looks like it involves some sort of train or bus before hitting the ramp.
Then as your look further along to the rear of the hangars there were literally massive amounts of film crew vehicles and temporary buildings I am Sure this is where all the stars change and live and production members which will stay there for the next few weeks.
Already confirmed to be in UK is Jason Momoa playing Aquaman Who was spotted in London Friday evening at a bar in Shoreditch by a fellow Twitter fan who was there and also Gal Gadot aka Wonder Woman who was spotted yesterday in the filming area also Ray Fisher cyborg and Ezra Miller the Flash, somebody even said Ben Affleck was on the set, playing Batman, all to be confirmed. Henry Cavill, Superman however is in Australia filming Mission Impossible six and he has possibly already shot the scenes he was needed for already during his busy schedule.
There was one picture in particular from one of the hangars yesterday by Roger Skillin (who has had many great shots this week from the location) His pictures showed the huge doors open and a massive set, wooden frames and green screens but in the centre looks like the hall of Justice, could this be a scene for the movies end where we get to see the league together??
Some are saying it’s the Dumbo set but I guess we shall have to wait and see.
Of course with no official announcements this could all be speculation and all even wrong.
So please have a look through my pics, they don’t reveal too much but would but wanted to share, I would love to see what sets are inside the hangars and if production kicks off very actively soon and more outside the hangars happens then I may go back up there until then keep an eye here at the DC World.
Thank you all
