JUSTICE LEAGUE : Official Heroes Trailer and a Nightwing Photoshop!

Justice League is fast approaching it’s cinema release date, and the latest trailer “Official Heroes” is no let down.

It based around Superman and his impending return, and as https://io9.gizmodo.com stated, there is definitely a lot of action to wet your whistle with in this cracking trailer!

To celebrate the release of Justice League, fans have been creating fan art, including one great piece of fan art of Green Lantern in the Justice League posters.

Well, I thought i’d have a go as well – this is by far not my best piece of Photoshopping work – but i hope you like it none the less!  It features Dev Patel as Nightwing – the perfect choice for the role in my opinion!

HOF: September Entrant #6 : Zack Snyder

It’s that time of the month again, and we at DCWorld are launching the semi-final for September’s HOF chapter.  Here is the sixth entrant for the September Hall of Fame, Zack Snyder.

Zack Snyder is a Film Maker Icon.

From watchmen, sucker punch to 300 and Man of Steel. Finally to have the DC Comics movies finally starting to form together and keep the same actors is something I have been waiting for a long time and for someone to get this going, Zack was the man.
I’ve met him in person in London expressing myself and appreciate all he has done and doing.

I do believe without Man of Steel kick starting the DC movies again we wouldn’t be witnessing the Magic we have had the past couple of years and the best is still to come. With Justice League, Aquaman,Batman and plenty more movies all in the world.

For this I thank Zack Snyder for making my childhood dreams a reality and I’m proud to be part of this Epic journey because of him.
This is why he is my nomination.

Are you a fan of DC Comics?  Do you think Zack Snyder deserves to join Robin Lord-Taylor in the Hall of Fame final in December? You can vote in September’s Hall of Fame semi-final here.  Every vote counts so make sure you have your say!

BLOG: Which Justice League member are you?

The Justice League movie is coming on 16 November 2017, and what better way to go to the movie, than already knowing which member of the league you are most like.

Batman is a loner, he isn’t one for friends but doesn’t need super powers either.  We all saw how he kicked Superman’s ass in Batman vs Superman with no need for super powers right?

Superman is a true old fashioned hero, even if from another planet. He takes his glasses off and nobody knows who he is, and saves the world with his laser eyes and his super strength.  And don’t forget, he can fly!

The Flash is a geek who probably… can’t speak.  You’ll find him gaming on his NES and geeking out in his spare time, but he’s a hero you need with the speed to beat Usain Bolt in any 100m race!

Wonder Woman is a true hero, a guardian of life.  She would fight to save the lives of all living beings.  is this you?

Cyborg is a half man, half computer beast.  His super powers mainly include..well… kicking your ass?

Aquaman is a lord of the waters.  He will help, if he needs to… but don’t take this big guy for granted!

Which Justice League team member are you?  Find out with our short quiz below!

SDCC 2017 : Justice League Panel

The Justice League are finally set. And they are ready to blow your mind! With just a few (and some are really hoping for) short months away, fans have started to develop DC fever. Cyborg, Aquaman, and the Flash join Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman for the first time on the big screen this November. And the party is just getting started.

Comic enthusiasts at the San Diego convention, some staying in line overnight, packed themselves into and out of Hall H Saturday, July 22 for the much anticipated preview and to see the cast. The cast members who attended the panel were Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Ezra Miller with Chris Hardwick as the Master of Ceremonies. Fans were teased earlier in the week with the unveiling of the new Batmobile and with rumors of Ben Affleck’s Batman being “quietly ushered out” and plans of going in another direction. The rumor was quickly put to rest as Affleck said “I AM the Batman.” And also expressed how much he’s anticipating Matt Reeves’ vision of the upcoming Batman solo movie.

The panel started with Jason Momoa coming out and introducing the Aquaman movie. After air-guitaring his trident and waves to fans, it was time for the rest of the league to come to the stage. But they didn’t come up to stage through the side as usual. Ben, Gal, Ezra, and Ray surprised the room by coming through the crowd high fiving fans as they approached the stage. This cast is having a good time and it’s spreading to the fans.

Unlike last year, Zach Synder was not in attendance to show off his work along with the cast. And fans on social media expressed how much they still appreciate him. And from what fans see in the trailer, they are still looking forward to the finish product. Also unlike last year, there was no surprise visit from Superman Henry Cavill. According to IMBD, he does return as Superman/Clark Kent. How much we actually see of him in the almost three hour movie remains the mystery.

Fans loved seeing the cast, but the highlight of the panel: the trailer. Packing into just over four minutes of footage, fans see plenty of action, special effects, humor, along with easter eggs and theories to keep you guessing until November. And Warner Brothers is not letting anything get out!

Here’s what we do know from the trailer. Wonder Woman can kick some butt (Who knew, right?). Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons come to Earth to look for three artifacts called Mother Boxes. Steppenwolf has met the Green Lantern Corp. Steppenwolf has destroyed other worlds. The Amazonian Army fights the Parademons. Aquaman knows how to use a Parademon as a surfboard. The Flash gets to be in his first battle. J.K. Simmons (Spiderman, Whiplash) and Ciaran Hinds (Rome, Game of Thrones) join the cast as Commissioner Gordon and Steppenwolf. Alfred is visited by someone who was foretold to him.

Here are some additional notes to add to your theories. According to IMBD: Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, Martha Kent, Antiope, Queen Hippolyta, and Superman (of course) make a reappearance. Alongside those characters: Billy Crudup (Watchmen, Alien: Covenant) as Henry Allen, Amber Heard (Magic Mike, The Danish Girl) as Mera, Willem Dafoe (Spiderman, Murder on the Orient Express) as Nuidis Vulko, and Kiersey Clemons (Dope, Neighbors: 2) as Iris West join the cast.

Here’s a look at The Justice League. Coming to theaters this November.
