Directed by: Tom Derosier

Starring: Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, J.B. Smoove, Jason Alexander, Tony Hale, Matt Oberg, Diedrich Bader, Christopher Meloni, James Adomian

Synopsis “Harley and Ivy are feeling post-kiss awkwardness. Harley runs as far as she can from her feelings and the running leads her all the way to Apokolips. Contrary to Harley, Ivy faces her feelings and Kite Man’s parents head on. Meanwhile, the President tells Gordon that in order to put Gotham back on the map, he must get rid of Harley Quinn.”

After such a cliffhanger to leave us on last week I am really happy to see the show continue pursuing the Harley and Ivy relationship. Harley is essentially still on the rebound from Joker while ivy is moving forward with her wedding to Kite Man. Will the happy ending between these two characters conclude this season or not?

Inner (Para) Demons

DARKSEID IS…

A nice change to scenery this week as we drop in on the ultimate super villain Darkseid. His home planet of Apokolips doesn’t look a lot different to the current state of Gotham but its nice to mix things up. This was our first meeting with Darkseid on the show and Michael Ironside did justice to the formidable figure. Michael Ironside who is most known for his roles in Top Gun, Starship Troopers and Total Recall is no noob to the world of DC. Previously he has appeared in Smallville, The Flash and also voiced Darkseid on the Lego DC Supervillain video game.

MVP

The stand out character for me in Inner (Para) Demons was Dr Psycho who hasn’t featured much this season. Given the opportunity to step forward this week Psycho did not squander the opportunity. The hilarious Tony Hale gives Psycho so much over the top energy for a small person trying to over compensate for their size with a big bravado. He has such a funny dynamic with King Shark and Clayface and the trio normally offer most the shows laughs.
