Throughout the past season of arrow, a hero figure not part of the arrow team has been appearing on and off in episodes. His name was Vigilante.
Who is Vigilante and why does he not want to work with Oliver Queen. Here are a few thoughts on who this solo hero could be:
Tommy Merlyn
For a lot of the past season many people thought Tommy was Prometheus which turned out to be false. I for one still think there is a change of Tommy coming back, especially now Malcolm is gone, there are some possibilities here for Tommy to come and build the story of finding out that Thea is his half sister. Tommy might also feel that Oliver let him down when he ‘died’, which is why he doesn’t want to work with the Arrow team.
Grant Wilson
In the last episode of Arrow, Oliver said he would help Deathstroke find his son. In Legends we have seen Grant Wilson before in 2046, but now because of Flashpoint, is it possible that Grant was born earlier and therefore could be Vigilante? He would have a grudge to bare against Oliver as he put his Dad into a prison, so this could make sense.
Roy Harper
Roy saved Oliver a few seasons ago when he went to prison and faked Arrow’s death before The Green Arrow became. Does Roy now hold a grudge against Oliver because he can’t see Thea? Does Roy after time want to start saving the public again, but without Oliver’s help?
